Breaking news! The pre-clinical research for Action Duchenne's co-funded project UNITE-DMD into gene therapy are showing restored muscle function in dogs.

The ...new research has shown that repairing the defective gene in the canine model vastly improved the dogs' ability to walk, run and jump.

Action Duchenne are co-funding the UNITE-DMD gene therapy trials for Duchenne here in the UK, and once the tests on the canine model are complete, a phase I/II clinical trial will take place in both the UK and France....
